Physics For Beginners PART - I
Physics For Beginners PART - I
This course has been designed for students of primary to higher secondary level. It is written in English. Video lectures, graphs, article, quiz, exercises, etc. are generally used for the delivery purpose.
The course deals with the fundamental concepts of Physics. The topics included are : Measurement, Vectors and Scalars, Kinematics and Dynamics. Measurement has applications in our daily life. In this course units, dimensions, significant figures, precision and accuracy are explained.
Vectors and Scalars include definitions, mathematical operations on vectors, resolution of vectors and numericals based on these concepts.
Kinematics is an important topic of Physics. It deals with the change in position, velocity and acceleration for uniform and non-uniform motion. Position time graph, velocity-time graph, acceleration -time graph are included. Kinematic equations for uniform acceleration are discussed in detail. Projectile motion as an example of two dimensional kinematics is explained in this course.
Dynamics explains Newton's three laws of motion and their applications in daily life. Free body diagrams are used to help you understand to balance the forces acting on a body and solve the numericals.
Basic facts, important formulae, derivations, theories, numericals are included to fully explain the subject. The first two sections of this course include narrative videos but the last three sections do not have narrative videos.
