Deploy Django on VPS Ubuntu Apache Nginx uWSGI systemctl AWS
On this course we are going to setup a Linux VPS using top edge technologies like Apache2, Nginx, uwsgi and systemctl in order to host your Django applications but having the possibility of using the same VPS to host applications from different technologies.
We are going to use a VPS from Amazon EC2 but all the content of this course will perfectly work for VPS Linux (18.04) from any other VPS provider like Linode or Digital Ocean.
You will learn how to setup the Apache2 as the main webserver that will talks with Nginx via reverse proxy, Nginx in its turns will be the media files and static files server and will communicate with uWSGI via reverse proxy as well for requests that are not for static files. uWSGI in its turns will serve the Django applications.
We are going to automate tasks with systemctl like rebooting the applications in case of a crash or in case the VPS reboots. And finally we are going to use Amazon AWSÂ security groups to act as a firewall to protect the VPS
