In this floristry course you will learn the basics of how to make a beautiful floral arrangement and supercharge it with a heavy dose of creativity, not commonly taught in traditional floristry courses.

We will revision one of the elements of floral design ''The Colour'' in a beautiful palm husk design. This will create an organic, botanical feel throughout the design with the touch of elegance.

We will also learn  more about ''The balance''  one of the basic principles in floral design.

Before designing the arrangement, Georgie will show you how to determine the right size of the container, in this case the palm husk.

We’re going to position the flowers inside and around the palm husk with a variety of beautiful flowers and design a beautiful centrepiece, that can be used for many different occasions.

Flowers used in this course are: Eryngium, Phalaenopsis flowers , Ornamental Kale, Anthurium, Hydrangea, Asthilbe, Thistle, Misty, Spear Grass and Tree Bark.

All our courses are easy to follow and are designed for beginners and experienced florists. This course will also give you the foundation of working knowledge you need, to be able to to work as a florist.

By the end of this lesson you will be able to recreate your own wow-factor floral design.

In this module we will go deeper into balance and how to apply the colour wheel to your design.
