1. Unix shell basics - everything runs on Unix without it you are not going anywhere.

2. Git - you may have heard the term Infrastructure as code, or in general programming, any type of code needs managing, and that part is done by this beautiful tool created by none other than the creator of Linux. Again this is something you would use day one on any job you get in the field of IT.

3. Terraform - Apart from the 3 main cloud providers there are others, Alibaba cloud, Oracle Cloud, Kubernetes and Terraform is a cloud agnostic tool that lets you work with all of them from one unified platform, only very primitive companies use cloud formation and google cloud deployment manager to actually create resources in the cloud. The tool of choice is terraform.
