WHY IS BALANCE SO IMPORTANT?
Balance is absolutely necessary for you to have distance and accuracy on your longer shots and have that control on approach shots. Without good balance, being successful on a consistent basis is going to be very difficult.
A balanced swing will enable you to have better control of the club and deliver it squarely to the ball. This ensures accuracy. Balance is also key and necessary for generating clubhead speed which is essential for power. Don't be that golfer swinging out of their shoes!
THE PROGRAM
This is a 15 week plan divided into three phases each lasting 1-6 weeks. Progression is built into the plan and noted in phase two and then again in phase three. Limited equipment is needed. Each week you will have a set of balance exercises to complete focusing either on stabilization, strength or power.
