Adapt Vintage Lens To Modern Cameras
Adapt Vintage Lens To Modern Cameras
These days, many successful photographers (and videographers) are using inexpensive older lenses instead of high-priced modern lenses. They've discovered that vintage lenses can create photos (and videos) with a fine-art cinematic rendering that stands out from the crowd. Vintage film-era lenses often produce an artistic rendering with surreal bokeh!
Because most older DSLR lenses are manual-focus primes, they are usually unwanted and inexpensive. Yet most vintage lenses are faster and were made better than modern lenses. Older lenses were simpler designs made of metal and exotic glass. If newer lenses were made to the higher standards of manufacturing and quality that vintage lenses were, they'd be even more expensive then they already are.
If you want to use simplistic older DSLR lenses (or even non-photographic lenses) on a modern mirrorless camera, you'll need to learn how to adapt (modify) the incompatible lens mount to properly fit and function on your digital camera. In this course you'll learn 10-ways to adapt lenses.
This course features the latest and most advanced lens adapters. You'll see numerous lens adapting demonstrations, and learn new lens adapting methods recently discovered by the author and not found anywhere else on the Internet.
Your instructor (Dave Weber) is a retired professor who has: years of experience repairing and adapting lenses, pioneered lens adapting techniques that have been adopted worldwide, and authored articles on lens adapting.
