In the course, what the students will be doing is learning Dance skills through practical steps and  vocabulary lessons here, by the teacher.

Each chapter covered in the course is cumulatively consise in its approach towards the subject.

Dance, in the Indian classical way is dealt with by breaking down the learning of each step, into bit by bit parts, first with the hand movements alone and then just the legs and finally the teaching of both syncronised perfectly with each other, as well as coordinated head and neck movements.

This will be the practical learning aspect of the course.  It is about half of it.

For the theory lessons, which is the other half, stories and facts behind the scenes and the history of the dances, its origins and present presentation of it, in the modern context is done here.

The medium of instruction for the course is English and along with the captions and the reference textbook content of the course, in complementary learning with the practical demonstration of the steps, work towards the objective of enhancing the students grasp of the dance with the common language.

In the resources, both audio visual and typed notes for the students, as further learning is added in, so as to ensure that the student gets a comprehensive teaching of the course subject.
