Master the FTCE GKT - General Knowledge Test has instruction and practice on all four of the FTCE GKT subtests: GK Reading, GK Math, GK Essay & GK ELS. The GK Reading course has instruction and practice on the 17 skills needed to pass the GK Reading Subtest. We discuss the skill, have a practice selection with the answer, and then a test question with a detailed answer explanation. The GK Math course has instruction and practice on the 21 skills needed to pass. Some of the lectures are broken into two parts. We learn the math skill, then we practice it, and after that, we look at two test questions with solutions. The GK Essay course has practice on the six skills of focusing your essay, organizing your essay, coming up with supporting details, and reviewing grammar, sentence structure and conventions. Then practice on brainstorming, drafting and refining an essay for submission. In the GK ELS course, we look at each of the English language conventions, show examples of correct vs. incorrect usage, and have two test questions with answer explanations.
