A truck is a motorized vehicle designed to transport products and goods. Unlike cars, which are typically monocoque in construction, many trucks are built on a sturdy structure called a chassis (frame). Most of the structure is made up of a supporting chassis, generally a structural frame, a cabin and a structure (or box) to transport the load.
The term truck can refer to two different vehicles: rigid trucks and articulated trucks.
In "rigid trucks" the box cannot be separated from the cab1 (where the tractor unit is located); They can have two or three axles. They are designed for the transport of relatively light cargo and short or medium distances; generally, they are used for the transport of smaller loads, fragile cargo ... furniture, household items, groceries, health area, clothing, removals, firefighters, emergencies, etc.
Articulated trucks are made up of a tractor and trailer or, more frequently, a semi-trailer; They are used for long distances and heavy loads, both for liquids and dry or bulk material, such as fuel transport trucks, logging trucks, container trucks and swap bodies.
