This course will give you a very good understanding of climate change which is mankind's greatest challenge. Learn about what is causing it, why it is important, and what we can do about it. A great deal of research was done over the years in order to create this online course.

You will learn about greenhouse gases and the greenhouse effect. You will learn some of the big contributors to greenhouse gases (deforestation, meat industry, and transportation).

You will learn the many effects of climate change such as the worsening of wild fires, heatwaves, droughts, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and tropical storms. You will also learn how it is affecting agriculture, is affecting food and water supplies, and may lead to more wars over natural resources. In addition, you will learn its role in causing a huge amount of environmental refugees and how it will cause problems of desertification, ocean acidification, and the spread of diseases. Also, its role in the sixth mass extinction in which over 1 million species are at risk.

Then, you will learn about solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity, wave power, and tidal power.

In sum, you will have accumulated great knowledge about climate change which is arguably the most important issue facing humanity.
