This Beginner's Course is a good starting point to help give  parents and care providers  the knowledge and skills they need to make a difference in a child's development, specifically his or her attention skills development. 

The course has been curated to ensure that there is an equal balance between theory and practical knowledge to ensure that participants know what specific actions and steps need to be taken to further their child's development and to be able to back these technique with theoretical knowledge.   

By the end of this course, participants should be able to walk away with a list of techniques that they can implement directly to further develop a child's attention skills and overall language development.

The course has been designed by Abrar Darwish, a speech and language therapist with more than 15 years of experience working in the field of early intervention.  Abrar believes in the importance of empowering care providers and parents with knowledge and skills, as research has shown that the greatest improvement in a child's communication development comes from home.  By simplifying theoretical concepts and therapy techniques, Abrar aims to share practical skills with parents and guide them towards further developing their child's communication at home, where it counts the most.
