Understanding and Improving Mental Health
Understanding and Improving Mental Health
Researchers say that one in four people worldwide will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives. This is especially true in the post pandemic world where so many people were forced to spend time in isolation. In fact, an association, called Global Shapers, which focuses on young people around the world, say that mental health will be one of the key struggles among youth, i.e. those between 16 and 30 years old.
Most people link mental health to mental illness. But we all have mental health, just like we all have physical health. And in the same way that our physical health will be in good shape and not-so-good shape, so will our mental health depending on our situation, stage in life and coping.
