Those involved in procurement and supply activity will create and manage formal agreements which will be critical to organisational success. Part of the developmental process for such agreements will rely upon effective negotiations with stakeholders and / or suppliers and also on the ability to influence the individuals and groups involved. These tests are designed to help prepare those CIPS students who have studied this subject and who in the 'real world' may be preparing for and completing negotiations.
The CIPS module for this subject seeks to enable students to examine the key stages of the negotiation process and the influence of relationships and ethics on the negotiation process. The CIPS module also seeks to understand the methods and behavioural factors which can influence others.
This CIPS L5M15 Advanced Negotiation subject follows on directly from the CIPS L4M5 'Commercial Negotiation' module which ideally should have been studied and passed prior to tackling the assessment in this Advanced Diploma subject.
