This lecture provides a step-by-step guide to the fundamental aspects of the graphic representation of a wide range of jewelry pieces, from simple to the compound forms. Different faceted stone spaces, surfaces and finishes are explained in detail, as are methods for depicting different materials.

This lecture aims to explain with the tools needed to be able to accurately convey the exercises for jewelry illustration. Plus, this is helpful for master use of color, as well as to draw different gem stones and effects such as brilliance, transparency and opacity. It does so by explaining fundamental techniques for jewelry illustration to shade faceted stones, pearls, cabochon stones and to paint colored metal. By all lectures, you are encouraged to execute as many of the shapes that you will watch on the video on your own as time allows for developing your skill.
