About the course:
In 2020, the Canadian federal government announced its next steps to address pollution, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and achieve the goal of zero plastic waste by 2030. In June 2022, the federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Steven Guilbeault, clarified the six single-use plastic categories that would be banned for manufacture, import, and sale under Canada’s new single-use plastics legislation. “With these new regulations, we are taking a historic step forward in reducing plastic pollution, and keeping our communities and the places we love clean,” Guilbeault said.
