Reading Skills

This class is designed to help students to improve their reading skills.  The first part is a lecture on the sources to help build vocabulary.  The second part is a lecture on ways to improve their understanding of the things they read and the third part is a lecture on what things to read.  Building reading skills is a great way to improve a student's English ability and help students to enjoy learning the language.  Reading is great for leisure, helping someone's career. and improving overall language ability.  It helps in daily life, from understanding contracts to documents at work and leisure time.  There is a lecture on which things to read and a short quiz at the end to make sure that the student's understand the class.  Also, there is a discussion on test preparation.  English tests include a reading comprehension section and this course gives advice on doing well in that area.  The course is 30 minutes and includes several lectures with a review at the end.  Knowing the right areas to look is important for building vocabulary and understanding the definitions of words.  It can help you to understand the terminology of an specific focus in life.  Every area has its own specific terminology and improving your vocabulary base is important.  All these things will be discussed in the class.
