Improving your personal energy and productivity
Improving your personal energy and productivity
From the first flickering of the blue light of your phone when you wake up in the morning, to the end of the day when your eyes finally close you are bombarded with things to do. Traditional productivity techniques implore you to prioritise the important and urgent stuff and this works, but only for a while. If you find your days filled responding to other people's priorities, exhausted and knowing that in order to get through everything you're skipping meals, exercise, eating poorly and deprioritising the things you love, you're not alone. And for many of us, the sad fact is when we close our eyes, we do so knowing that tomorrow will bring more of the same. This course introduces the Energy Leader Model and is for you if you've exhausted time management strategies because you can't manage or create more time. Instead this course focuses on energy. Energy is all around us, it is what makes us sharp and perform productively. The good news is though we can't create more time, we can create energy and we can take specific actionable steps to improve our energy, deploying techniques we'd accept in sports to improve how our brain works. Basic time management techniques are helpful and will get you so far, but mastering energy is something you can do for yourself and you can introduce it to your teams to improve everyone's happiness and productivity.
