• Form - The three-dimensional version of a shape and where to use that.

• Big, Medium and Small - One of the "Rule of 3s" and how to apply that to your work.

• Overlapping Shapes and Forms - The power of overlapping shapes and forms and how that can enhance your artwork.

• Simple Versus Complex - A fundamental concept that is rarely emphasized. This helps create variety and dynamism in your artwork.

• Value Control - An introduction to what values are and how to use them to communicate your ideas.

• Colour Theory - The essentials of what colour is and how to interpret colour for easy use in your artwork.

• Edge Control - The different types of edges common in art and design, and how to manipulate them to communicate your ideas.

• Composition -  An introduction to the fundamentals of composition, the different ways to express composition and how to use that to create visually pleasing artwork.
