The CXR is the most frequently requested imaging investigation in hospital medicine. Despite this, many healthcare professionals lack the necessary confidence when interpreting CXRs.

Chest X-Ray is the most widely practiced imaging procedure and knowing how to read it is a basic skill for every medical student or practitioner.

Whatever your specialty - as an FY1, FY2 or Specialist Registrar - this one-day course will help you with accurate CXR interpretation in the Emergency department.

The teaching format is based on short lectures, interactive tutorials and the opportunity for you to analyse sets of images accessed via your own computer.

    • F for Lung Fields

    • G for Gastric shadow

    • H for Lung Hilum

    • I for Instruments
